The Bee Gees
There is probably no single band that had more influence on the music of the late 1960's and 1970's than the Bee Gees. Besides their own hits, they wrote many songs which were popularized by other singing artists. The brothers Gibb consisted of Barry Gibb, Maurice Gibb (deceased), an Robin Gibb. Many think of "Grease" and the disco era when they think of the Bee Gees. However, their songs spanned a much greater period of time than just the disco era.. One of their more memorable hits from 1971 was "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart?" To learn more about this influential group read the Bee Gees WIki.
